Online GCSE results?

Question

My school provided me with this slip of paper telling me that I can receive my results online, with a code and stuff.

My friend just told me that the online results only provide the science results, but not the other subjects and that I have to go into school for them?

Is this true? Because I'd reall rather not cry in front of everyone at school!

And is anyone else getting their results online?

you can get results on the phone but i'd check your online ones first. i can get all my grades online or by calling the school so i don't think there's any need to go into school! much as your friend might be trying to help you out unless you've heard from the school that you can only get certain results online i'd listen to the slip of paper...and don't worry there's nothing you can do about it now! good luck!

if its the edexcel paper thing then you should be able to get all the results from all the exams you did with the edexcel exam board

I haven't heard anything about getting results online, and I have to collect them by hand because I've been told that I need the piece of paper as proof for college.

Is that maybe a school exclusive for you? Or perhaps because you where under a different exam board for science. Either way I have to go into school to collect mine, thought I think I can ask them to mail the results out to me. Ring up the school and ask if they can do that for you.

If you have to go to school to get your results, and are afraid of your reaction infront of everyone then just bring them home and open them. They do give you the results in a letter dont they? Well if you do get the results in a letter, just don`t feel to preassured to open them there. If your friends keep asking you to just be firm with them and tell them you don`t want to!

I don't know anything about getting GCSE results online but if your worried about crying infront of everyone then just don't open it until you get home.

I think you might be talking about edexcel online results service?

If so then you need to register online with that PIN code thing.

The results you will be able to see are any you took that are with edexcel. Tis possible that your school is only registered with edexcel for science, in which case your friend would be right..

I'm going to be getting a few results online- but still going in school to get my others =]

I didnt even know that you could do that, I guess if the school said you could, providing they gave u the info, you could do it online, alternatively if you think you're gonna cry, get someone to pick them up for you and make sure the school know beforehand (via your written permission) or just dont open them til u get home!!
