Alright.

So, if you're just reading this question to give a nasty answer, then leave please.

I'm 14, and a freshman at goddard academy.

it is a school for kids who have been sick and missed school, or for kids who needs to be keep an eye on.

For the last year or so, i've been veryyy ill.

So, goddard said, 'you either say in 8th grade, or go to goddard academy and be a freshman'

so, i went to GA.

Today was my first day.

And it was total h**l.

Everyone there was there because of drugs, alcohol, pregnancy, or they beat the **** out of people.

There are bars on the windows and doors.

There are cops there watching you 24/7.

There are cameras EVERYWHERE. even the bathroom.

The people that go there are total a******s.

its the first day, and i've been offered drugs 2 times, and been picked on quite alot.

I absolutly 100% do NOT want to go to this school.

My parents have mentioned somthing about online schooling to me.

But, i've researched it, and so far.... nothing.

If anyone knows what to do, please please please answer back.

PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE NASTY REMARKS. I NEED POSITIVE FEEDBACK, NOT NASTY FEEDBACK, PLEASE DONT MAKE THIS AN EVEN s*****r DAY!

  1. There are alot of options out there.  You do not mention the state in which you live but I will give you a few ideas regardless and tell you which is best in my opinion.

I have my kids currently enrolled online at OHDELA which is a tuition free k12 public school.  They are great from the teachers to the curriculum.  They have schools in Ohio, Colorado and Pennsylvania. You can call and get more information at 1.800.493.8680 or go online to http://mydela.com

OHDELA and it's affiliate schools in Colorado and Pennsylvania provide you with everything including a computer, printer, books, gift card for cartridges, field trips, clubs you can join like ski club, national honors society and more.  They even reimburse you for internet and provide a myChoice account which allow you to do things to learn that you enjoy.  For example you can take swimming, or visit museums, or buy books or other resources with it. You can learn more about these option by clicking here: http://www.mydela.com

Some other options include connections academy, and K12 has schools in alot of states also.
