Online High school question! Please please help

Is there any way you can just take one course in online high school? As an extra class, but you don't get credit for it. Just to learn new things. Is there any way that's possible?

Im enrolled in "virtual school" for Algebra II.

I get credit for it and I have tests and assignments.

This option is good if you want to receive the credit, and you can

always drop the course if you find it time-consuming or difficult.

Otherwise, I would buy a book or research what you want to learn.
