  1. I agree with you, I buy everything online. I have saved loads by getting a bundle insurance from a site found here

    http://finance.ebookorama.com/ukusa-sele...

  2. If you've looked at Diamond I assume you're female... have you tried Sheila's Wheels?  I found them quite good and cheaper than Diamond.

It's fine to book online if you like the quote, it's quick and easy.  Sheila's Wheels never bothered me with emails either.

  3. moneysupermarket.com

  4. try confused .com or moneymarket.com

    for best quotes

    loads better to but online

  5. you can buy online, however don't be scared of the questions call centres ask, it is the same questions you are asked online so there will be no surprises.

They will only try and sell you breakdown as they are told to, just say no if you don't want breakdown cover.

All calls are recorded so they are not allowed to "hard sell"

Elephant and swiftcover are internet based companies, so may be problem if have to make change.

Personally I prefer dealing with direct companies who have offices in UK only

  6. I personally use Geico.

They gave me comparable rates to any of the local agents, and I haven't had a single problem with them since I purchased the policy, which was also active in about 15 minutes from the time I made the payment.

  7. If you are buying online always check the excess on the quote. Quite often these comparison sites add a voluntary excess to reduce your premium this can lead to you having to pay out a much higher excess than normal in the event of a claim.

The other thing is if you wouldnt understand what someone is saying to you on the phone in terms of cover etc is it wise to buy online where u will receive no advise whatsoever.

Make sure you read the policy summary, terms and conditions and exclusions of the policy before you proceed

  8. see this site http://top-cheap-auto-insurance.blogspot...

maybe it can help you get the best answers...

    good luck...;)

  9. If you are fully competent to understand the insurance policy you decide to buy and if you are sure that you have answered all the questions accurately and if you don't mind having anyone to help you should you need to make a claim - then go ahead.

If you want someone to discuss your requirements, advise you of the cover, terms and conditions of your insurance policy, ensure that you don't inadvertently non-disclose material facts and help you should you need to make a claim - then go and see your local insurance broker - they welcome face-to-face meetings.

  10. Yes, booking online is fine as long as you use a reputable company. It may sometimes work out cheaper to book online as some insurers offer an online discount.
