Online delivery confirmation vs. delivery confirmation at post office?

Itsless online , sometiems free, but is there any difference?

Does the recipient get a physical copy of the delivery confirmation, or just an electronic one?

I dont see the difference exactly....

There is no difference other than the cost. It will still do what it's supposed to do either way. It will show the sender when the item was delivered. The only person that gets a copy is the sender.
