  1. Computer based homeschooling is actually a great option for people who are self motivated, as you appear to be.  Here is some information for you:

If you are not interested in the virtual academy, you may want to look into the following programs:

    http://www.sycamoretree.com

    http://www.e-tutor.com

    http://www.oakmeadow.com/curriculum/onli...

I did some correspondence work to get a few credits during my senior year of high school and it worked out great.  I hope you find a program that meets your needs!

  2. Another wanna junkie.

There are no nation-wide online high school programs.  Some states have online charter schools, if that's what you want.   Quality ranges from OK to vapid.

If your parents are not willing and able to research and find homeschool programs, then it's best for you to continue in the public school system.  In general, any student who can't make it in publics will fail at homeschooling unless the parents are committed and competent.

  3. TR who says there are no nationwide online high schools is plain and simply wrong.

An option to look into is Indiana University - they have a fully accredited online / distance high school diploma program.

They will accept previously earned credits into their program (you may have to do a portfolio)...

To graduate from their program you only have to earn 5 credits from them + other credits that you have earned.

A link to the IU high school program is included below...

  4. Another option might be American School. Here is their site: http://www.americanschoolofcorr.com/

While they do use traditional text books, the exams can be submitted online. I have found their program to be especially suited to students who are very independent learners, which you appear to be!
