Most of my family is against it but my mom she is the one that wants to pull me out too cause of reasons at my high school I am a jr. i have to be out of school for a month and a half because the trimesters and quarters don't even out. My family is just nervous because they think i am going to be screwed when i go to colleges and they wont accept me. Also they are nervous that i wont do well and not get good grades while doing this. I am self motivated my mom has never had to tell me to do my hw. I have 3-4 hrs of hw every night plus going to school for 6 1/2 hrs. I just get so overwhelmed that i dont want to do it anymore because it is so much. Plus the teachers dont teach that well. Going up and asking for help and the teacher telling my friend your smart you can figure it out on your own. That is not right I dont have as much time for studying as i would like cause i have to much other hw to do Do you think online home schooling would be a good idea? What about the college situation

  1. You have to be careful if you choose to do online schooling. It takes alot of self motivation. You are held responsible it would be very easy to get behind.  With that said read on...

I have read a lot of studies about online learning and it turns out that online learning is proving to outperform standard teaching and learning methods. With that in mind I had enrolled my children in online education at an early age. My children attend an online k-12 tuition-free charter school named OHDELA. It has proven to be one of the best things we have ever decided to do. Our children get to learn for the comfort and safety of home, with out the peer pressures of public school. They offer the students to learn at their own pace and encourage them to excel in the areas they enjoy.

OHDELA and it's affiliate schools in Colorado and Pennsylvania provide you with everything including a computer, printer, books, gift card for cartridges, field trips, clubs you can join like ski club, national honors society and more.  They even reimburse you for internet and provide a myChoice account which allow you to do things to learn that you enjoy.  For example you can take swimming, or visit museums, or buy books or other resources with it. You can learn more about these option by clicking here: http://www.mydela.com

Some other options include connections academy, and K12 has schools in alot of states also.
