Question:

Online homeschooling?

In my current school I feel as if I am not really learning much and most of the time is being spent listening to teachers yell at other kids or have fits. Both of my parents work full time and I was wondering if you homeschool online would you need a parent there to teach you? Or could you just do it yourself and when they come back they'll look.

  1. You CAN just do it by yourself. My daughter does it all the time. You can go to www.Homeschool.com where they have a whole list of online curriculum and homeschool online stuff! It has never been easier.

  2. You will need a certified teacher to teach you. If you decide to go back to school they will put you behind everyone else. Have you decided on taking your GED.

  3. Research K12.com and Connections Academy.com. They both offer free online homeschooling but depends on the state you are in. Good luck.

  4. Both of my parents work and I am home schooled. This past year I was doing a normal home schooling program and I have done fine teaching myself. Some people need teachers so if  I were you I would do online schooling. That is what I am doing this year coming up. They give you a laptop and the books and equipment that you need. They have teachers that you can contact and I think they have cameras on the teacher while he is teaching a class. I am also getting a headset with my stuff....so I am guessing it will be so I can ask questions live when needed. It is a good thing to do if you need a teacher near you besides going to a school. Hope I helped!!

This page has a whole listing of resources. Just do some research.

I feel sorry that your school is like that. I am a teacher's aide and see

that behavior all the time. I'd be disgusted too, if I were you. Could you possibly get into the advanced classes where there are better behaved

kids? That what my kids did in public school. They still had to deal

    with creeps, though.

Good luck to you in your search.
