  1. It is interesting that you are looking for a parent, and yet do not want parental advice...any good parent would tell you that this is dangerous. You never know who is out, who means you harm.

I can hear you saying that you are lonely and craving a parental relationship, but this is not the way to find it.

I am sure there are resources in your community that could hook you up with a mentor.

I hope you find what you are looking for in a safe and good way.

    Good luck

  2. you dont need online parents.

you need real ppl to comfort.

however i support your descion cuz its up to you.

itll be a long road ahead.

in the meantime listen to garthbrooks song standing outside the fire.

  3. storm,

you might want to try big brothers/big sisters or some other similar program. That way, at least you would have an actual person who knows you and wants to get to know you personally.

  4. Why would you look online for someone to comfort you when you could have someone in your life to do that?  You don't necessarily need parents, but its a natural need by humans to be loved and accepted. Friends are just as good at it. Possibly other family members too like brothers, sisters, aunts or uncles. Maybe even teachers or other adults in your life like coaches or your pastor.

Don't look online for comfort. Open your eyes in your own life, and I'm sure you'll see it. :]

  5. Why not try your local church?  I am sure there are some great people there who would love to give you guidance and love and support.  Or you could try big brothers/big sisters.
