  1. Arizona has a public virtual school. I am not sure if you specifically wanted homeschooling virtuals or if a public school virtual is an acceptable option. The public school virtual is completely free. They will send you a computer, reimburse some or all of your internet, provide the curriculum free of charge, and send lab/art/music gear. About all you will need to provide on your part is paper and a few around the house types of lab materials.

You should be able to find the AZVA website with an internet search. If you cannot find it, go to www.k12.com. They list all the state virtual webpages. This is also the site to go to to see the curriculum that AZVA uses. The parents will be the primary teachers/supervisors 8th and below; though, much of the content is self-teaching by design. Ninth grade and above, the students will have an online teacher that takes primary responsibility for the student.

You can also buy the K12 curriculum as an independent homeschooler, but you will be paying for everything yourself. We used the K12 curriclum for one of our four children for 4th to 7th grade. He adores computers, so it was right up his alley. Overall, it is a very solid curriculum. Much of the content is delivered via computer. The parents are considered the student's primary teacher below 9th grade; though much of the curriculum is self-teaching by design. In the high school years, the student will have a certified online teacher that will be the primary instructor.

  2. There is a on line classes at k12freehomeschool.org I am only 14 but  Iam doing it and it is free but it has a 10 dollar shipping fee for Cd's that you will need. I like it a lot, for the first time ever  I LIKE math. I believe you can still enroll in it if you can't enroll there it is through learningbygrace.org so you might find it there. This is for anywhere in the US not just Arizona.

  3. Arizona Virtual Academy are still accepting new enrollments if you hurry. They are a public charter school but online at home. The same as any public school. You will graduate and get a real diploma same as any traditional school.

They will provide you with the computer, printer, materials, supplies, books and teachers that can help you if you need help all for FREE. There is no cost.

    http://www.azva.org

click on how to enroll, set up an user account and take the placement testing and then they will contact you.

If you want to email me please feel free to do so.

I currently have a son who graduated an online charter school that now attends a private university with scholarships. I have 2 children that are currently doing the k12 program and it is GREAT !
