ok so im opening up my own online store and i was wondering of u really need a paypal account to accepts checks and credit cards online? i dont know how to get one or if its going to be free or not. is it possible? thnx

Pay Pal is an option, but depending on the goods and services you may want to look into a true merchant account.  While it is not free it is safe, secure and brands or gives your store a more professional feel.

Be sure to understand all terms and  fees as well as how to account for taxes.  Just because you are selling on-line  does not mean you will not be held responsible.
