Online uk maps?

Question

ok heres the prob

i was on a map planer like multimap or somthing.

and i could actualy move the line that showed the route and when i did it re caulculated the time and distance it was going to take

sort of a DIY map.

can anybody give me the name please its startin to bug me and i need to tweek some directions

There is  a good route planner  and maps on the o2 web site.

I know the one you mean but i cant remember the name of it either

its really cool, i was altering my route around all these country roads and it recalculates it all out for you

you sure its not multi map?

Ive recently been on multi map, google maps, AA and RAC so it must be  one of those

Google Maps does it.

The quickest way is to go to http://maps.google.co.uk/ and then in the search box at the top, just type your journey, for example "london to cardiff" (or more accurate information if you know it), and away you go.

That then allows you to drag and drop the route line away from roads you want to avoid.
