I have started growing pubic hair and my mom told me to tell her when I start growing hair. How should I tell her? I was thinking of e-mailing her. Have any suggestions?

  1. just tell her when you too are alone. Its not really something to be embarrassed about because all girls go through this.

  2. haha i like 'ashleighsmashleighs' idea.. go with that lol.

    xx

  3. i wouldn't tell her at all.

  4. Pubes aren't a big deal, if she wants to know when you do... just bring it up to her

  5. aww.. thats so cute.  why does she want to know. send her a text.  tell her "im a woman now, ive got pubes!"  ahaha.. awww..

  6. She probally wants to know beacuse its a sign that your going to get your period soon or in a month or two, its different for every girl. You shold just get it out and tell her, its not that hard :D

    Good Luck

  7. just tell her she can  give you tips and tell you how to remove it no bigge

  8. lol, emailing your mother is so impersonal.

she should understand.. all women have pubic hair.

don't be embarrassed, just tell her.

  9. why would she want to no that...? anyway just cassually say it wen its just u to in private, i guess thats not that aquward.

  10. why does your mom want to know that? I never told my mom about that, i just told her when I started my period and that was because I needed her to buy me pads. If you two are that close that she needs to know then you shouldn't have a problem telling her. Maybe you can just bring it up one day when you both are in a really good mood and just hanging out or shopping or something.

  11. Don't email her. If she is out of town, call her or wait until she comes back. Just sit down with her and say "Okay mom, you told me to tell you when I get pubic hair, well I am telling you." Don't be ashamed.

  12. Wait until you guys are alone, then ask her if you could tell her something and then just tell her!  Obviously she's willing to talk about it if she wants you to tell her when you start getting them.  It's no big deal, eveyone gets them.  Good luck!

  13. You should first off make small take with her then you should just tell her like in a joke kind of way a laugh could never hurt (Dont tell her over an e-mail itz better when people do it up and close) Well Anwayz i wish you the best of LUCK!!!

  14. It's nothing to be embarrassed about. Just tell her!

  15. Don't listen to them. E-mailing is a great option.

I always find that i can talk to my mother about most anything, but i cna't bring the subject up in pperson. Writing it on paper and handing it to her, or e-mail is a great way to let her knwo because then you dn't have to look her in the face and tell her, but it leaves communication open. with written word, it allows her to bring it up. then you are free to talk aobut it without feeling akward.

So don't listen to them, and e-mail your mom

    Hope this helps :)(:

  16. well if ur not comfortable tellin her in person i think u shud email her thats de only way u'd get over ur fear (i no i wud be definately scared as well) i think its best u email her...hoped i help...good luck and ur mom prob get the idea ur not comoftable talkin bout it and she'd bring up the topic first...

  17. :) don't email!  She wants to know because she's going to help you through the transition.  Just sit her down, make sure you can get her alone, and tell her.

  18. Juste say like mom, this his a little embarassing to tell you but i have hair on my pubic

  19. FIRST, read everything (see below) about puberty development and everything about menstrual cycle which will give you more confidence.

SECOND, just open discussion with your mother or send E-mail about all puberty symptoms you find out
