I know you asked for Indians, but would an American woman in New Delhi who has scoured the markets for really good products, for both herself and her husband, work?

If you asking about scents, like colognes and perfumes, then I have one piece of advice---if you use Axe, please use it sparingly. It is a very strong scent---a little goes a long way. Plus, it doesn't prevent body odor, it just tries to cover it so that what you get is the smell of old sweat with an overpowering cologne scent.

Axe was just introduced a couple of years ago in the USA. My students used it in our classroom every day after their gym class and no one could breath for the next hour! The smell was overpowering---the cologne scent and the sweating teenagers! I had to open the classroom windows just to breathe!

My husband uses an Adidas deodorant spray and an Adidas cologne (separately). It is a good, clean scent, but together, it is too much of a "good" thing.

Old Spice is also a clean, classic scent if you can find the scented roll-on or stick form of the antiperspirant/deodorant. It provides a nice, classic scent and the protection of an antiperspirant.
