The future of the burgeoning talent has been under constant speculation with moves to several clubs, however, Pescara state only PSG are showing real interest.
There had been rumours of a deal being done between Pescara and Juventus over the Azzurrini star when the 2011/12 season was under way. Marco Verratti rose to prominence under the tutelage of the Delfini’s former manager, Zdenek Zeman, who made the most
of the youngster’s potential and he shined in his role as the regista for the Delfini.
His contributions, along with that of Napoli’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lorenzo-Insigne-c22431 were paramount to the success of the club, who gained promotion to the Serie A. However, the club have been keen to offload the midfielder to generate funds, which they would use to bring in
a couple of players so that they survive in the Serie A for the upcoming season.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926, would have seen Verratti staying at the Stadio Adriatico outfit for one season on loan. This was a relative deal breaker for the Italian
clubs besides their valuation of the player, and negotiations failed to materialise.
Daniele Sebastiani, the Biancazzurri President, has given a briefing on the current situation involving the midfielder, and he went on to state that the club have only received a serious bid by the Parc de Princes outfit. He commented:
“PSG are the only ones who have made an important offer and I repeat that there have been no intrusions from Italian clubs in the last few hours.”
The Delfini Chief Executive feels that a decision on the future of the Azzurrini star could be made as soon as the next week, as they are holding on to their valuation of the player. He went on to state:
“We are dealing on the basis of €12m. If we were offered €11.9m then nothing would happen. Under €12m he would not go. I think that next week we will reach a conclusion.”
He went on to state that if Verratti is satisfied by the deal, he will make the move, and remarked:
“He is attached to Pescara and it is clear that if he leaves then he will be a little sad. But, if he is convinced and happy and PSG satisfy him on the contract then there will be no problems.”
PSG have recently signed http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thiago-Silva-c34903 at the club to add to the Serie A influence they already have in their squad.
