Only need excel formulas only ?

in cells a2 and b2... I have 26% in A2 and 874 in B2. Need to know how to get answer using formulas.

Increase 602 by 33% ... in cells A7-B7

How would you increase 405 by 8% in cells A8-B8 ...

PLEASE HELP me!!

  1. =602*.33 and same for 405.  maybe counif, not sure.


  2. If you want to increase a number by a percentage you need to multiply it by 1+the percentage.

    i.e. if you want to increase 405 by 8%, the formula would be

    =405*(1+.08)
