It's boggling me that both speakers work when switched to cd player or stereo but on video 1 and video 2 I only get sound from one speaker. So, the surround sound does not work at all when watching TV or DVD's. Does anyone know why?

  1. red - left audio

    white -right audio

    yellow -video

check the red and white rca jacks (cables) and check the balance control if u have one

  2. its only putting side of sound, you have two cables that plug into your head unit, and two that come out of your tv usally red and white. check that the cables arnt broken, or swap them around see if it comes out of the other speaker. it sounds like its the cables not your speakers.

  3. Try your CD player connections on your Video 1 and 2 and see if it's normal....

If so, the cable you are using for the TV has a broken wire on it, or your connection to the TV set is in the wrong hole on the TV set....

If the CD player does the same thing only giving you one channel of sound, then there's a switching IC inside your amp that may have a dead channel on it.....

Just make sure you use the CD cable with the CD and don't use the TV cable with it. That way you know the CD and cable are fully operational.

You can always e-mail me for more information.....
