Would a Onstar Cd from a 2008 Saab 9-3 work with other cars with Onstar capability?

I would say it should.

if the cd says saab on it, it may only work for saab.  but i guess it could be worth a shot if it doesnt say only saab on it (gm, chevy, pontaic or whatever)

The Onstar CD is keyed for the system installed in that car or truck.The 2008 Saab CD will only work in that year and model.Best of luck.
