Ontheoneroad keen to keep his A2 record intact
The T. Munslow trained black dog, Ontheoneroad, achieved some iconic feats in A2 format during the last month. Now, he is h**l-bent to capitalize on the streak of three triumphs and one runner-up rank to bring home the ace title of the A2 500m Flat that
will be held at Nottingham racecourse on Monday night, September 3.
For the sake of £124, the three-year-old veteran hound will run to his best against five worthy competitors after breaking from the red box.
The talented son of Balintore Brave out of Ahavoher Rachel picked up a lot of momentum by winning two back-to-back A2 races during the first half of August. He moved on to get the runner-up rank in the A2 500m Flat that was held on August 21.
The maverick sprinter marvellously grabbed another grand victory in his last start on August 28. The best thing about the dog is that he registered all the three conquests without favourite tags. These stunning upsets have forced the punters to rethink their
decision to underestimate Ontheoneroad.
It is expected that the skilled runner will gain reasonable betting odds ahead of tonight’s marathon. If he manages to chenalise his capabilities properly, success will surly go to him.
Despite the fact that he looks to be the strongest of all on the paper, Ontheoneroad will have to face immense resistance from Fabulous Shiraz who has done more than her age since debuting in February 2012.
The D. Firmager trained black b***h broke her maiden by winning a T3 race on February 25, and moved on to register an A2 triumph in the month of March.
The brilliant b***h nicely won a big race on July 27. During the last month, she brought home the title of A2 500m Flat. Like Ontheoneroad, Fabulous Shiraz too has decent record in A2 format of the game.
