Ontime/passtime device?

Question

I have an ontime device installed on my vehicle (shuts vehicle down if you miss a payment). The dealership didnt tell me about the device till I had signed all my paperwork so Im kinda pissed. Im thinking of telling them to go **** themselves and disabling the device myself, should I?

Except it is a problem because even if you make your payments this device can still prevent you from using your car! It can even damage your starter! The exact same thing happened to me-- they didn't tell me about the device until the day I went to the dealership to pick up my car. It's like an ankle bracelet, and it breaks all the time, preventing me from going to work!!!!
