Desperately trying to find a good place for a birthday party for my 9 year old girl. Would Oogles n' Googles be too young for her? Anyone know how much their party packages run? I did email them but I want instant gratification...

Any other bday party ideas for the San Antonio, TX area?

  1. Go with Libby Lu or my daughter's personal favorite-- American Girl.

Last year we had a full- blown "pajama" party and it was great. sometimes you don't have to leave to have a good time. all you need is good food, music (we had a disco ball), pjs, High School Musical karaoke, etc. They had fun coming up with their own ideas. They played American Idol on their own and it was the highlight of their party. The best thing was that they didn't sleep over (not 13 girls!!!!) and had just as much fun coming over to hang out late at night.

  2. I don't know if there is a Libby Lu's or a Sweet 'N' Sassy in San Antonio, but I know they are LOTS of fun! My (now 9 year old) had a 4th birthday at Libby Lu's and it was a blast! If Oogles n' Googles is anything like these places it is a GREAT idea, and no I don't think she is too young! Have you tried calling them to get an instant response? Try calling EARLY in the morning before they start getting busy and they will likely be more helpful and polite.

Good Luck!!! I am ALWAYS looking for new party ideas for my kids and I know how hard it can be!

  3. how about going to something like US play. they do bowling or (cosmic bowling), arcade games. what does she like. or just ask her where would she like to have her party
