Ok I am 17 and I dont go to a regular school,

So I dont have much of a social life...

What are some things to get involved in to meet other people my own age, especially girls.

YMCA go out and do something for your community, and who knows? you might get laid

Since public schools are getting ready to go back try going to some football or soccer games of the local high schools in your area. Even if you are home schooled you can still get involved in some extra curricular activities such as band or one act plays. If you go to church, you can meet people your own age there too. If there is a local college in your area, try attending some of the activities that they sponser. It's not a good idea to "hang out" on the streets or anything, but try to find out where local teenagers "hang out" that is safe and try meeting people there. Good luck to you!

Theater groups, music clubs, church/religious groups, sports, summer travel geared toward teens, etc. It only takes one good, social friend to help guide you into new groups of friends. Find things you're interested in and then jump in with both feet.

Maybe see if theres any youth activities on..like dances, clubs etc

Get out there and show them your personality!..persistence is the key try joining a club or gathering of a hobby you really enjoy.

As then you'll meet new people that share a common interest.
