Opel corsa - Idling problems?

Question

My opel corsa has erratic idling. It cuts off when in stationary mode as well as when you depress the clutch to change gears. Any pointers anyone?

Hello all,  have changed intake air-control valve. 1.4 corsa cuts out completely when changing from 5 to 4 to 3 etc. After this it starts immediately again. However, situation becomes very frustating. And also, battery life will be shortened dframatically.  Any suggestions please?.    Jean
