Open casting calls and auditions in NY without an agent????

Question

I'm a 16 year old female. Does anyone know of any open casting calls I can audtion for in NY? I'm thinking commercials or short films. Also, what are some free and reliable places where I can find open casting calls?

there are lots of open auditions.  check playbill.com under jobs.  and the best resource is backstage.com

you can also look at nycastings.com or actorsaccess.com

i'm a professional and dont worry all of these are great and legit

(ps. you can also buy backstage from newstands in the city instead of using the online subscription, it comes out every week and costs a few bucks)

you shoudl do some classes!participate in plays! build up your resume! get an agent! do auditions! get headshots!

and for an agent go to talentagents.blogspot.com and scroll down till you find city nearest you

read everythign you see! and click on words in blue but not double udnerlined ones and i suggest that you sign up with alan baltes go to first site and look at right column it explains everything! he wont be an agent just help you out and its a one time fee of 30 dollars and totally worth it!please do not report mee ok i am not doing anything bad and this isnt spam or solicitation its not my site!i just copy and paste my answer cause its teh same for every question and sometimes i alter it! whats wrong with that?

dont pay for backstage i dont believe its legit
