Open market in Panama City Panama?

Does anyone know if there is an open market in Panama City, Panama.

well there is a flee market every Sunday in casco viejo.

there is also a food market

but an actual open market there is none that I can think of.

Sal si puedes is kinda dangerous especially if you do not know Spanish.

Yes, from the bus terminal and central avenue, travel down central ave for about a mile on the left. It runs perpindicular to central in a very narrow street or ally way. That's how I recall it years ago when I lived there, and we called it the "sal si puede" on central ave.

Well depends on what is an open market..They do have an open produce market somewhere near the railroad.  Also they have the Avenida central and Calidonia that has hundreds of little stores that sell from shoes to appliances...

I suggest the Zona Libre de Colon..It is not in the city but it is about 1 hour from the city, Open for tourist you can buy everything and dont pay taxes.
