  1. 2 toilets would be my idea of the height of luxury!

I've never lived in a house with 2 loos and definitely not 2 bathrooms....now that would be the absolute height of luxury!

We have a teenage daughter who spends most of her time in our bathroom and that can be awkward coz the loo isn't seperate from everything else so if she is in the tub then we have to wait til she is out before we can go to the loo.

As for cleaning toilets....these days it is so much easier as there are a lot of cleaners that do the job for you.  Toilet Duck do a good one but I've found the Harpic cleaners to be the best as they remove all traces of limescale too which is really bad in the area I live.

Just give each loo a good squirt of Harpic and leave it on to do it's job - you can leave that stuff on for ages so if you forget it doesn't matter and then just go back and give it a swizz around with a loo brush and flush....easy peasy! lol

  2. It's relative. If you're living in a small room with a shared toilet down the hall, then two toilets in a single flat might seem posh.

  3. The cleaning is soooo worth it if it means you don't have to use a toilet straight after someone has stunk it out. I wish we had two toilets at our place - my husband stinks!

  4. Two toilets are needed for homes that have more than 3 people living in the house, without them, you'll be waiting for a person in the toilet while you're busting in your pants! Cleaning, well two toilets isn't that much. To help lessen the cleaning, there are toilet soaps that clean the bowl with a squeeze and a flush! Easy!

  5. It's for convenience. Well, this is the words and wordplay forum.

  6. I've got two toilets at home. It does save a lot of arguments.

  7. It's only posh to have two toilets if you have matching mats! lmao

You can't move a question once it's posted, but it's not too posh to post it in two different places, so I would suggest putting it in P&S as well, cos it's a fun question.

    Hugs x
