Opening "in home" daycare?

Question

I was just wondering how would I go about doing that?

I have my E.C.E diploma and 3 years of experience with working with children in daycare environmnent as well as montessori experience.

I'm not sure if I'd have to get a liscene ?

I live in Ontario Canada..

Well I am just an 8th grader but if you want to do somthing like that why won't you do what you did with those children in the daycare with the children at your house. See my friend joe his mom is doing the same thing as what you want to do. So I get these answers from her.

you do need a license and CPR / first aide training and also keep up with other training here is a website that will help you with lots of questions of child dare in the home in ontario good luck

Private-home day care. Also referred to as home-based child care. This is child care that is provided in a private residence other than the home of the children. Licensed private-home day care agencies contract with individual caregivers who use their own homes to look after up to five children under 10 years of age. The agency screens, approves and monitors caregivers.

When we apply for our home childcare license here in the states we go to our County Building  i am not fimilar with how canada spits up towns/ cities or if you have counties but i am sure in your phone book in the yellow or blue pages you should be able to find some phone numbers to help you.
