I'm just starting to jog and I've heard that listening to classical-type music is good for your heart rate. I don't really know any so I was hoping to get some suggestions of good songs, singers, music, etc. I like the stuff they play in the Macaroni Grill (I like the operatic and the 50's style, but I think the classical music is best for my situation), but have no clue what it is. Any suggestions?

  1. Vivaldi Four seasons

  2. The ride of the valkyries?? (you'll recognise it when you hear it)

  3. You want something with a pretty steady tempo. Music from the Baroque era (1600-1750) would be best. Some composers are Bach, Handel, Telemann, Pachelbel, and Vivaldi.

Try Bach's Brandenburg Concertos, Handel's Music for the Royal Fireworks, and Vivaldi's The Four Seasons.

Also, music for ballet should be especially good to "get you moving!"

  4. yes I have read also that especially classical barrock music has very similar rthym with heart, so it s helpful.
