I need to know what the operating cost includes for aircraft.

Also does any one know the Operating cost for a

Boeing 737-700ER

Airbus A320

Bombardier C110 (to be released in 2013)

Per hour

  1. Operating costs are based on variable costs that it takes to operate..

    Fuel is the biggest cost, so it depends on the cost of fuel.

    With current cost, roughly around 10,000 to 20,000.00 an hour for a 737 and a A-320 depending on many factors, the flight time at alt, taxi, landings..

    Hard to predict fuel costs for 2013...

    my bad, this cost also included fixed costs, such as aircraft costs, insurance, mx, ... .

    around 7000.00 seems a little closer.

Unfortunately I'm not at work, so I look up a completely accurate answer, but 10,000 to 20,000 is way off the mark.  I checked B767 operating costs for recently for another question, and the cost ranged between 5700-6500 USD per hour depending on the airline.  Granted that was in August and fuel costs have increased, but we are still a long way from 10-20K.  I would guesstimate the 737/A320 to be in the 3000-4000  USD per block hour.  That includes most if not all operating expense.
