Last night I turned my computer on and it's telling me the operating system can not be found..so reinstalled windows xp on my computer and I still continue getting same message after reinstalling operating system.. can someone please help..

  1. there might be something wrong with your hard drive and also it could be a virus that stole all your information and blocked you  from getting it back i am sorry but i don't know how to kill the virus i suggest getting a new operating system Ubuntu get the Ubuntu disc free from Novell (company that owns Linux ) then install it and Ubuntu is way better than XP  also maybe to kill the virus get trend micros PC chillin.


  2. Make sure the hard drive is securely attached.  If it is still doing the same thing your hard drive might be bad.

  3. Try first to take out the cablet from your hard disk. maybe had dust and not make a good connection.. also give some time to your all operation system and make sure to push  all the cablets.. and your graphic card ofc cause if turn of your pc will starting to beeping..

  4. Did you make sure there is no floppy disk in the computer?  There can also be something wrong with your hard drive, but then it usually would not be able to go through the installation of windows.  Strange.
