Operating System not configured for this program?

Question

I have loaded Windows XP onto an old computer that I had lying around & I am trying to load MS Word onto it but all I get is the above message. Can anyone help please??

Have you validated Windows XP?

I second Open Office....you can't beat it...and it is compatible with Microsoft Office.

Spread the word about Open Source Software.

if you need to use Word urgently, try use Openoffice @ www.openoffice.org .

Else, do a Windows Update by going to www.windows.com/update and try installing it again.
