  1. I really liked Brett in the past.  But over the last two years his whole, "Maybe I'll come back, maybe I won't" routine was terribly unsettling.  Then to retire and want to come back is ridiculous.  He's a jack *** and not a team player - no pun intended.

I don't blame the Packers for wanting to be done with him and his drama.

I think the Jets are the Jets (sucky) and that he won't have an impact there.  I definitely think he'll retire for real at the end of the season - if not sooner.

  2. I miss him already. He should ONLY be playing for the pack. Green and Gold all the way baby.

  3. WET A HOOK BRETT.

  6. It's a complicated time here at our house.  The Geek has a man crush on the Fahhh-Vrah and is confused about his feelings regarding is un-retirement and recent change of cities.

I told him that things change... people change.  As a sports fan he should know this and be used to it.  But after his Indians parted ways with C.C. I think it's just been too much for him to handle.  I'm trying to get him to concentrate on the Browns, which is crazy because I'm usually doing everything I can to NOT bring that d**n team up.

  7. To favre as Nelson Munns would say HA HA

  8. With no Favre on the Packers this year, I'm optimistic that the Bears could go 5-11 instead of 3-13.

  9. Who is this Favre you are speaking of...I have never heard of him. This type of deal really needed to receive more coverage because I had no idea this was going on

  10. Hey there ex-wifey, we must have telekinetic powers, because I swear I just asked the same exact question.

I think he shoulda stayed retired.

  11. he was my FAVORITE player for the packs.

    AH; im so maddd.

    :(

  12. Stupid move.  He should be playing with the Packers.

  13. I think he plays baseball or something.

  14. The Jets get one of only three NFL QBs available who can read, recognize, and disect any NFL defensive scheme without needing a coach to hold his hand and tell him what to do the entire way. (Peyton Manning and Tom Brady are the other 2 I'd put on that list).

Favre is not only a talented veteran QB who's seen it all, he's now extremely motivated to make GB look bad for trading him.  I think that's a very good thing for the Jets in '08.

  15. I think he was slightly overrated and because of this he now feels he can come along and simply mess things up for everyone. I would not be surprised if the only reason he was attempting to come back was to spite the Packers owner or GM.

Farve needs to mature quickly, because with the Jets he is going to find out the hard way what Chad Pennington dealt with for 8 years....... The Jets do not take kindly to poor sportsmanship. (no disrespect intended here). Good luck Farve, im sure through this season and possibly next year, he will retiree again and this time likely stay retired.

(What ails me is the fact that he could have went out with some class and dignity, but now he will retire looking like a real jack ***.)

  16. He's out of Green Bay (which is good for both him and the organization), but I don't think he'll succeed as a member of the Jets.
