It's purple Liatris and very pretty but i'm kind of at a loss of what to plant with it, i like my gardens to be full and busy with lots of colors that compliment so definitly nothing red, i kind of want something smaller to frame the liatris. it'll be in front of my white house. Thanks, everyone here has so many good ideas!

  1. Sweet potato vines- a mix of the ace of spades and margarite varieties

  2. Liatris is a native wildflower! Native to Mass!

There a many great species to pair with it!

I'd like Coreopsis, Black-Eyed Susans, Purple Coneflowers,

Asclepias Species,  Rattlesnake Master, Phlox, and there are a whole bunch of others

  3. I have light and dark pink impatiens mixed in with my liatris.  My house is Gray vinyl with a white vinyl front porch, my flower bed is in front of the porch.  I do think it looks great.  The liatris gives it height and a good color contrast, the light and dark which is almost a fusicha color just looks good and the green stalk/leaves are a good contrast also.  I try to cordinate my whole front porch with purple and pinks.  Also my porch faces north and only gets morning sun.  Good Luck
