Opinion about Canon 40D?

Hey, what u guys think about the DSLR camera Canon 40D?

It's a very nice camera, i absolutely loved it. You feel like a professional when it's in your hands. Here's a video review about this camera ( i know you don't like to read, who does ? )

This camera has ten megapixels ( you don't need more than that ) you have a three inch, live view screen, which is nice to have. Live view is very nice when you're learning how to use the manual mode. It shoots at 6.5 frames per second, which is pretty quick. All around, this is a very nice camera, i'm actually saving up for a camera like this. I'm still not sure which one i'm going to get. It's a really nice camera, you should be completely happy with your purchase.

It is a sort of pro-bridge camera for those who need a backup DSLR and don't want to spend another $8,000 for a second 1Ds, Mark III.

What exactly do you want to know?

For someone who doesn't have $2000 to spend on a full frame camera but wants a quality SLR I think it's a great camera.

I have the 30D and I'm very happy with it. It's well-built, has a good selection of lenses, has all the features I need, and has really well laid out controls.

One thing that I would mention is that the 50D is coming out this fall. I'm not necessarily suggesting that you get the 50D but I imagine the 40D will drop a little in price when the 50D comes out.
