Opinion on names for a girl

Question

I don't know the the gender of my baby. We have a boys name picked out, but can't decide on the girls name. Your opinions would be appreciated.

Well, as my name is Tori, I would have to go for that one though I also like Audriana. I like Tori as long as the full name is Victoria. Brianna is a nice name but somewhat common and I don't really like Chanel. Good Luck!

i don't like Tori only because i can't stand Tori Spelling.

Chanel doesn't appeal to me.

First off, congrats on the pregnancy.

I am TTC and if we have a boy we are naming him David James (David is my dad, james is my fiances dad)

If we have a girl, we are naming it either Emma Leigh, Samantha Renee, Maddie Lynn, or Ciara/Sierra Noel.

take into account your area. what names might not be totally acceptable where you live. I would not name a child chanel but any of the other names sound great. also, if you were a kid, what name might embarass you?

Think about how your child will be called by her friends. Will what you think is cute or cool now be that way in 15 years?

Trendy type names are the worst thing you can give to a child.

Well my sons name is Brayden and his middle name is Ryan but I also like the name Brayden Mykel.

For girls Brianna is really cute I know this is not one of your options but Isabella is such a pretty name for a girl.

Why do people insists on giving you names that arent on your list?? Obviously you've thought a lot about this, and their taste obviously isnt your taste. I dont get that....

ANYWAYS...  i like Braden - its original but not strange.

As for the girls... i'm not keen on Tori (i'm not a fan of nicknames are first names), Brianna (Very popular lately, run the risk of multiples of one name in a classroom).  I Like chanel, i can see why choosing a middle name is tough (possibly Renee or Monique,  i dunno).  Audriana is nice too...  middle name should have strong consanant sounds (constance, Michelle, Marie type stuff)

Most of the girls names are pretty low-rent sounding.  Sorry.

Tori isn't too bad, but I can't say I care for "Lenee"--it just sounds like something you made up.  And I prefer Tori as a middle name for Victoria--it's a little more substantial, and it gives her something else to use when she is older (if she so chooses).

Personally I think Brianna is way too common a name. The other three are beautiful and very unqie. Personally i think that Tori or Audriana would be best. However, if you choose Audriana you should choose a shorter name after it so it flows better. Lenee would be fine, but also something short like Leigh or Lynn (trying to keep with the 'L'). Of course those are my examples and my opinions. You dont' have to agree. Just giving my 2 cents.
