I think it depends on what you want out of it.... are you looking to be a demonstrator?  Carefully check out what you need to purchase from them to start up and how much you need to buy (or how much $$ from party orders, etc) to stay active. Other than that, you just have to decide which products you like better. I can't say I like either of their products any better than the other. I have been to parties from both companies and like them equally well. I do like the clear stamps from CTMH, but haven't actually purchased any. I have quite a few SU! sets though and don't use them as often as I really should. I think CTMH is geared more toward scrapbookers, but then again, the SU! parties I've had have been scrapping parties and they were fun.

So, again.. it just depends on what you are looking for, check out both companies and see which one is more suited to you. If you can, host a party from both companies and ask the demonstrator what she likes/doesn't like about it.
