  1. I liked the first one. Good keep it up. Can't give any opinions on these eye pictures.

  2. I love the train photograph , on your set.

On the eyes all I can say is that I like the lighting , how the flash goes deeper into the photo and creates such a beautiful image.

  3. Looks like you used a flash which is not necessary. The color is washed out. Subject is good and fills the frame. Just keep experimenting if you are using digital rather than film type. Digital is easy to use but has different light handeling capabilities.

  4. All depending  on your choice of subject  matter..   its  not easy  for anyone  to  tell  you what you  like..   .

I can only  tell you to  be   VERY  ..  creative..try all sorts of  techniques and experiment with all sorts of different angles  and   diffrent light.. situations..  in  time you will begin to realize  what  works  best!!   and what  you really enjoy doing!!

  5. Your photos are obviously novice efforts, lacking in technical and artistic knowledge.  I would suggest looking at good photos in books or magazines, or in photography websites like www.kodak.com and www.betterphoto.com  Look at how the light is, and study the composition.  (If you don;t know what composition means, get a book on beginning photography or art and learn about it.  Basically it is the method used to decide what to include and how to position the subject to lead the eye and make the picture interesting)

Then study your camera manual.  You may not have a fancy camera, but learn all you can about how it works and how to access the settings.  Some of your photos were not in focus.  When shooting landscapes, make the horizon level.  I am not sure how much photography technique you will learn by shooting lots of eye pictures.  You may want to think of varying your subject matter.

Pay close attention to light throughout the day.  The early morning and late afternoon are the best times to shoot outdoors.  The longer shadows and less intense light lend form and definition to both landscapes and people, and the light is softer and warmly colored.

Photography is a fun hobby.  Start learning the basics, and keep practicing.  You will see your images improve as your knowledge, skill and experience grow.  Have fun and enjoy!

  6. 1.  I personally hate black and white photos.

    2.  There's nothing wrong with a flash, but definitely try doing these without a flash.  Setup some really bright lighting in the room so the eye is well lit up evenly.  Be careful not to shade the eye with the camera.

    3. Make sure the image is in focus.  The far right picture looks WAY out of focus to me.

    4.  What are you trying to do exactly?

  7. WOWZ!!!!!!!!! That wuz awesum! most ppl cud NEVR get those shots! I wuz actually just trying 2 yestrday!

  8. I think they are great quality for a beginner....I'd hang your pics on my wall.

I know I couldn't do any better myself so I am not in a position to critisise anyways.

Good on you for having a go, and good luck..

  9. Hi Kelly

I admire your modesty. The photos are not good and anybody who tells you otherwise isn't truthful. Take colord photos or simply black and white. Forget the flash if you have adequate lighting.
