  1. the ref messed up i wanted to see kimbo destroy this dude

kimbo had alot of heart because he could have got messed up on the mat he was taking them elbows

  2. STAGED!!!!!! they wanted kimbo to win. they knew the other guy was the gonna win if it came down to a decision, so they stopped the fight the second they saw blood on the other guy

  3. I think the fight should have went to Thompson.  He is defiantly the better fighter.  Kimbo got lucky when he got a chance to go for Thompsons ear.

  4. I honestly thought that if Kimbo went past the first 4 minutes of the first round, he would be done.  That is exactly how much endurance he showed when he got his butt whipped by that Boston cop who was fighting dirty just to do something against Slice.  Was Thompson winning the fight?  I had him up 2-0 until the 3rd, but he never did anything to keep Kimbo from coming back.  Slice showed he can take a punch and at least act competent from the bottom.  When he was on top and couldnt get free to land a punch, he was clueless.  Thompson never had to worry about a submission being put on him, and he was able to work more freely from the top or bottom.

It was not luck that Kimbo was able to work his ear beyond a head of cauliflower.  Kimbo worked that until he was able to hit a larger target that isnt the first priority to protect.  The blood made it look worse than it was, but that fight wasnt stopped because Kimbo landed 4 bombs in a row with several before that.  It wasnt stopped because he is marketable and the powers that be wanted him to win.  It wasnt stopped because of Thompson's ear hanging off of his head.  Guys have gone through fights with worse injuries.  It was stopped because Thompson wasnt mounting a defense and was staggerring.  Kimbo was about to land about 4 or 5 more if Thompson would have still been standing.

Make no mistake, Kimbo made a ton of mistakes, but having the strength to overcome them and just throw your veteran opponent off of you when something goes wrong is awe striking.  He showed he could take a ton of quality hits and last a full fight, as well as not allowing a submission to be put on him simply by powering out of it.  If somebody is going to beat him, theyre going to have to take a few tips from the Frank Mir fight when he put down Brock Lesnar with a fury.  Brock was raw and amazingly strong, but Mir didnt give him room to punch and was able to get a quick submission through his experience, not his power.  If Kimbo doesnt lose in the next 12 months, he will be even scarier than he is now.

  6. Are you blind?

Thompson MANHANDLED Kimbo Slice! At one point Kimbo had both of his arms pinned as Thompson was raining elbows down on him at will!

    Thompson won that fight!

  7. kimbo did well overall. and its not that he was manhandled, thompson is just bigger. he looked good in his guard at first, then his inexperience showed when he tried some rookie headlocks and lack of jujitsu when thompson cornered him. dont say he didn't do good because he did. if Thompson

was so much better, he would've taken advantage from the beginning. kimbo really showed me something when he was taken down early. he was sloppy later, but to learn that in a little time is amazing.   kimbos striking was better from the beginning and clearly had the advantage standing up tonight.

i do think that they stopped it too early, though Thompson got 4 direct hits in a row without guarding. i think the way that was going he would've gotten knocked out, BUT Thompson wasn't falling just like he wasn't falling in the 2nd. if kimbo didn't knock him out in that sequence in sure Thompson would've thrown him on the ground and pounded him to victory. i think kimbo did good, he made it to the 3rd rnd and that was a feat in itself. it was obvious Thompson didn't want to trade punches with him
