Opinions of water pipe I made.?

Question

Carbon filtered/water filtered coconut/bamboo pipe. The carbon filter is right below the bowl, and the water is in the coconut. It provides clean/smooth smoke, possibly carcinogen free.

Depends on the carcinogen, but Id be inclined to agree with the first poster. Reverse osmosis is one of the best filtration systems going. That and UV.

I do like the "earthy, tribal" look of it, and the fact that you used natural materials to build.  Regarding the carcinogen issue, I completely agree with the first poster.

No, actually it doesn't. A carbon filter cannot remove carcinogens, and a water pipe actually strengthens the intake of carcinogens and other damaging chemicals.

Nothing wrong with it if you want to use one - a water pipe does humidify the smoke, making it taste smoother - but don't kid yourself that this is any safer than smoking directly.

yea i think the whole "natural" feel to it is pretty cool.

I picture smoking that in a dimly lit room with wooden floors and walls. Their are colorful and trippy tapestries hanging on the walls. We sit in a circle on a plush fur rug, barefooted with some tribal beads. We relax with some ambient and tranquil music being played in the backround. The sound of an aquarium is behind the music, and i can feel warmth from a wood burning fire on my face. The smoke from the sweet cannabis takes me into the abyss of natural wonder.

maybe that is a bit poetic, but thats what this bong tells me when i saw your photos.

It may help that i am as high as a kite right now, but thats what this bong would do to us anyways right?
