Opinions on Julio Lugo

I for one can't stand the guy. I wish he would be gone and Lowrie would take his place. I want to know everyone else's thought on the matter

he sucks. lowrie is the future SS of the team. don't worry he'll be starting next year.

i think he is better defensively but yah i think he will be gone in a couple of years

I am a big Sox fan myself, and in my opinion...we had him because we did not have a better option. we never made a move at SS because we knew what we had brewing in Jed Lowrie in the minors. The plan was probably not to bring Lowrie up until the rosters expanded, and give him some playing time then. Lucky for him, Lugo got hurt and is playing great. I think Lowrie will be the starting SS next season no doubt, but there is also a good possibility that he's keeping the job now. Lugo was not playing great, and i think he may not get him job back when he gets healthy.
