Life wasted

All my life I wondered why

How she could live like this

I knew she would die

It started out early as a question of if

But I knew all along the end was coming

I thought she cared

I thought she could change

But I was a fool to think she wanted to change

Every day I waited

I could see the end coming

I prepared my self I thought I was ready

when the day came, I looked in her eye

for once in her life there was peace in her life

I wanted to show emotion

I wanted to cry

But I was unable to

for I was happy inside
