Opinions on my possible back-to-school haircut?

I need a back to school haircut for going into the 9th grade. I currently have light/honey blonde hair with an overgrown side bang and outgrown layers. Since everything has grown out, my normally very pretty hair doesn't look too good. It hangs down to the middle of my back, the length that I like, which is why I didn't get it cut all summer. I want to keep that length but still do something different, with a much thicker side bang and different layers, maybe shorter near my face.

I LOVE Shailene Woodley's (Amy Jeurgens from Secret Life of the American Teenager) haircut. I think this is the one I want to get for school. My hair does have a very similar texture to hers although it's blonde (which doesn't make much of a difference). I love the length she has, too. Do you think this haircut will be cute for school? Also, do you think that the stylist at the salon will be able to recreate it on my hair? Thanks!

I also really like her haircut. You should do it and i think you stylist will do it easily
