I love old-fashioned names, and Clara isnt too popular... yet. what are your opinions on this name?

I love it! I named my daughter Meredith Elysse (same middle name, just different spelling).

I have a friend who spells Clara as Klara.

I think Clara Elise is a beautiful, classy name. It will work well for her as a little girl and as a grown woman.

Needs more work,,,What about Clare Elisha or Elise Clara, I like Clara as a first name but I don't think it goes with Elise, Why not Clara Melinda or Clara Elis(h)(s)a, something like that, it kind of flows.

They're both beautiful names individually, but paired like that, it doesn't really work. You shouldn't have a first name that ends in a vowel paired with a middle name that starts with a vowel. Something more like Clara Rose would be pretty... Good luck!

Clara Elise Chamberlain - perfect!!  Clara your right, it is an old-fashioned name (which I too love for girls, cannot find the right one for boys yet!)...but Clara is soooo underused!!  Which is great!!  I too don't love "filler" names for middles :)

I disagree with Laine, It def DOES flow nicely. Rose does not go well with Clara. Stick with Clara Elise it sounds best!

Both names are beautiful, but they don't flow because Clara ends in a vowel and Elise begins with a vowel. It doesn't roll off the tongue nicely. What about Elisa Claire or Elisa Clara?

Clara Chamberlain does sound very cute, though, so why not pick a different middle name? You might like:
