Opinions on the name Evan Joshua Harry?

Question

my friend loves the name Evan, whereas her partner doesnt....

He loves the name Harry... whereas she dont...

In fact, as she tells me, they dont agree on many names.....

so, they've compromised on..

Evan Joshua Harry.... (Joshua is my friends partners name)

I think its fine.... but their last name is 3 syllables, which makes me think that maybe it will be a bit of a mouthful!

what are your opinions?

i think that is a wonderful name, strong, masculine and cute, it may be a mouthful said all at once (with the last name) but how many times do you ever say your full name at once to anyone? even at school, the doctors office anywhere really you never say aloud your full name, maybe he will have to write it on official forms but you don't even have to include all your names on those either. so i really don't think it will be a problem at all. i think its a lovely name.

I love EVAN!  I also love Joshua.  Not a fan of Harry, but as a third name it's ok.

other names that are similar to Evan if he doesn't like it...

Evan Joshua is nice, but Harry sounds very old fashioned compared to the other two names, it doesn't really fit. But if it's the only way they can agree on a baby name then they should definitely use it. Sometimes a little compromise is necessary. :-)

I think it's a good compromise and Evan as a first name is adorable! One of my top names. Even though it's long it works well.

well its up to them but i personally do not care for two or more middle names.i think it is so pretentious and unnecessary and really low class ,sorry.just my opinion.

Since most people are recognized by their first and last names, they should try to agree on a first name they both like.  Or at least both kindof like.  Maybe some names that are close to Harry or Evan:

Harrison

Ethan

Garrison with nn Gary

Larry

Sevan
