  1. there ok. for that money, your better off buying a ford mondeo man!

  2. They are pretty unreliable, and suffer from many faults. I'd avoid one.

Whatever money you're looking to spend, I'd advise looking at a Japanese car for reliability - something like Honda Accord, Nissan Primera or Toyota Avensis won't disappoint.

You just won't get the same build qaulity or reliability with a Ford, Vauxhall or Rover.

  3. Hello

    I currently drive a Vectra B, 1997, 2 Ltr, Petrol, Automatic.

The Vectra C started in about 2000

    Never had mine over 80,

Anti lock bakes, easier to stop

Big boot, even on my hatch back

Central locking, 1 button switches off alarm, immobiliser and unlocks all doors and boot, 1 button locks doors and boot, second push dead locks all doors and boot, switches on immobiliser and alarm

Electric door mirrors, easy to adjust

Electric front windows, easy to roll down to question pedestrians

    Power steering, easy to park

Steel wheels, cheaper tires than low profiles

I have arthritis so opted for automatic, I like the car it rides well and handles as expected. To be honest I do not think there is much difference between this and a Mondeo, personal choice of car make may influence you. The big guy on top gear doesn't like them as they are set up for comfortable driving, not throwing around a race track at 90 miles an hour. By the way they don't hang about and top at about 135ish.

    Andy

  4. I would personally avoid the early vectras as they were terribly unreliable cars not like the Cavalier they replaced the faults were ratified on the later models.
