    cowardice - Bob Ewell - attacks the near defenseless - a race seen as inferior in court, children.. picks on those below him


  2. Jem, Dill and Scout show courage in supporting Atticus' effort to quell the mob scene outside the jail.

    Cowardice displayed by mob scene in taking the law into their own hands, Mr. Cunningham being the leader.
