I have been attacked (yesterday) at a bus stop in Lewisham! Just more mindless unecessary discrimination. I wanted to see if you can help in any way please?

I was standing there and there were no seats! so I saw this poor Jamaican lady hobbling along, with a walking stick, who was in obvious pain, and I couldnt hold my tounge any longer, so I said to the people at the bus stop, can one of you move up so the lady can sit down please.

I got a torrent of abuse from this big group of black women (young and old) who turned out to be together and were family they were shouting at me told me to go away, came up close to my face and told me to shut up! and were being generally very aggresive. Me being me, I stood up for myself rather than back down and walk away! I couldnt stand there and take all the abusive things they were saying, then one girl with the group said ''Im going to dash my pattie in your face, but then being white I guess you wouldnt know what a pattie was!''

Should have slapped the fu*king ***** right in the mouth. Then when she went down, kicked her as hard as you could in the head.

You are so right. I don't blame you being angry. I admire the way you behaved. Trying to help that woman and not running away. You are strong but really it's not safe for you anything could have happened. I hope it doesn't change the way you think. Those people were the racists here.

OMG thats terrible!!! all you did was be a good person and respect the old lady!! them woman were so stupid! i hope they get what they deserve sooner or later. dont worry your not stupid and your not in the wrong you were just being kind! omg! im like.. angry at them! but yeah it is like that unfortunatly you cant say a thing without people starting! a while ago this girl her group of friends came up to me and my boyfriend, we didnt even know them and they were all like 'oi! go get us some f**s!' an we were like.. sorry were not 18 yet then she started on us like ranting and then i said 'look jst leave us alone ok!' and she slapped me **i kinda hit her back and won** but i just think people take everything the wrong way these days. what is the world coming to?!
