  1. It seems the beginning of this "quote" is missing...

    Who will spare no pain........?

Whichever is the case this applies to both, your "own ppl' and those that are not..

Like that expression "a barrel of crabs"-one gets close to the top and the "others"-(which technically is the "own ppl") pulls him back in.....exactly!!

  2. The semi-paranoid writings of ancient barbarians who considered "us vs. them" thinking to be a good thing.

Not unlike a number of quotes from the bible....

  3. It is not correct to give ones own opinion of anything found in any religious Scripture. One should go to the learn ed ones within that faith and seek their direction by enquiring with a submissive heart and mind truly seeking to understand. Each religious scripture is given to a certain class of people for a certain purpose at a certain point in time, and at a certain place in the world and all for very good reason. We should not give opinion or criticism of religious scripture and especially that which we are not very well acquainted with or conversant with. It would be disrespectful to say the least and may cause enmity. Take care. GOURANGA GOURANGA GOURANGA

  4. you're directing this quote towards a certain message about muslims.

    its unjust.

who knows what they're talking about.. it depends on what was said before and after.

    prejudice.

  5. The only message I see here is proof of the old proverb: "The devil can quote scripture to his own ends."

That would seem to include Koranic scripture.

Certainly, the prohibitions and incitement to violence are no different than many in the Bible - especially bits where God tells his people to go into the "enemy" (read, "lands he was telling them to invade") cities and to kill all the men and boys, but to keep all the virgin girls around for the post-victory rapings.
