if i took a opk and it was definitely there just a smidge lighter than the control line then the next i took it and it was way darker than the control line, which day did i O?

  1. I would think the day of or the day after the darker line.  

    A woman can release her egg anywhere from 12 to 48 hours later.  Every cycle can be different.

    Sounds like when you took the first test you were just beginning your surge.  You must have had a way higher surge the next day.  It is possible you could have released it that night or the next day.


  2. The second test would have been the positive. But you don't ovulate on the day  you get the positive, you ovulate sometime in the next 12-48hours, with about 36 being most common. So you probably ovulated the day following the positive test.  

  3. i dont know for sure but they say (from reading on the web)that you o' about a day after your first positive opk...which would be which ever was the darkest
