what is the difference between a regular optical cable and a toslink optical cable are they the same like the ends same size or different? not sure wat the difference is will they both fit in an optical input or wat?

  1.      They are the same.


  2. There are several uses for optical cable, including networking. Im not sure if they change in size but they do change in shape.  For home theater, you're going to use toslink cables.
